With extensive experience in building and scaling retail chains and food companies, García joins at a pivotal time as the company prepares for commercial rollout in key markets.
Amit has established SPAR branch in Israel starting with its flagship store in Kfar Saba and brining the message new retail experience to Israel. SPAR group has over 13,800 SPAR branded stores in 48 countries on four continents, meeting the needs of over 14.7 million consumers every day.

Prior to establish SPAR Israel, Amit served as the CEO of Carrefour Israel and was among the leading team that brought the chain to Israel.
Before that, he was the CEO of Dor Alon, one of Israel’s largest corporations. The company engages in the development, establishment and operation of refueling complexes, adjacent commercial areas and retail stores. In addition, marketing of fuel through refueling complexes and convenience stores, direct marketing of petroleum and natural gas to consumers, operation of a privately owned power plant, as well as promoting and developing real estate assets.
